A weekly class for older students looking to learn the basics of entrepreneurship and to develop their own business ideas. Students will receive a digital workbook. No additional supplies required.
Topics will include:
- Cultivating Creativity
- Spotting Business Opportunities
- Developing the Business Model
- Financial Fundamentals
- Organization and Record-Keeping
- Crafting A Strong Message and Pitching the Idea
This class meets every Tuesday for 4 weeks from 11 am – 12pm. The registration price includes all 4 weeks of classes.
Recommended for Grades 7th-12th.

Instructor
Kelly ManixMrs. Kelly Manix has spent the last five years teaching as an adjunct and lecturer at Middle Tennessee State University and Motlow State Community College. Previously, she worked in several management roles in both the service/retail and recording industries before receiving her M.B.A in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management at the University of South Alabama and is a homeschool mom to her daughter, Luci, age 7. She is passionate about teaching and giving young people the tools they need to succeed in both business and life. As a mom, she has a strong appreciation for the value that business education can add to the lives of students.
